renee's family

 reneé married brian on july 10, 2010. they met officially in the lobby of the boy's freshman dorm at iwu. reneé was brought  along to play a game called settlers of catan and brian was invited to play along, but because the game was already going, reneé said brian could help her because she was so new at the game. it turned out they were in the same american education class and sat near each other. needless to say, they had never met even though it was near the end of the semester. from that day on they have spent most of their time together. oh, and they won the game. J

reneé and brian got karly not long before they were married and she quickly became their “firstborn.” she is very particular and prefers to have individualized attention as opposed her sister kora, who will take anything she can get.

kora was adopted after reneé and brian moved in late 2010. they adopted her from the aspca, hoping that she would fit in with the already established family. she quickly fell into place and into their hearts.  

yertle and myrtle are the smallest members of the family. although most people think hermit crabs are unusual or dirty, they are in fact fascinating little creatures!
