Catnip Crochet Mouse
















Materials:

·         1 ball of multicolored yarn           
·         Dried Catnip
·         Scissors

*Materials will make quite a few mice*

Crochet hook size H/8-5.00 MM hook (or any size hook for desired size/stitch of mouse)

Key:
Sc = single crochet, ch = chain, sl = slip stitch, dc2tog = decrease 2 together
 
Ch 3 (leaving a substantial tail for the tail of the mouse) and form a ring with 1 sl st in first ch. 6
1st round: sc 5, ch 1( a total of 7 times)

2nd - 6 rounds: sc around  (making sure to stretch yarn into shape) until reached half of desired size (about half the length of one’s thumb)
Pull tail yarn to close beginning ring
Take a pinch of dried catnip and place inside
7th round: begin dc2tog until mouse is closed.
Fasten off. 

Give to Kitty to enjoy!!!

And so it begins!

For my birthday this year, I asked my family for a camera. It was the camera that has really made this blog possible. So using my camera, I will be capturing what I create and posting it here!
